I wish people couldn't remember bad memories. Especially good memories that were once happy ones but are now twisted and perverted around.
I realized that every insignificant place has a memory that lingers for certain people. You overlook it but the next person to come along might be drawn to it because of something that happened to them there.
All these insignificant places, with all the memories hovering, shaking, draping themselves over fixtures, ominously reminding you of a simpler time, hugging, wandering, lingering for all to ignore.
My memories won't be a burden for you.
